Campo San Provolo is just 5 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square and even less from the main waterbus stop (San Zaccaria).
Since 1968 the Hotel Fontana is owned and run by the Stainer family. The building was originally built in the 18th century and restored in 1984.
The typical atmosphere of a venetian house and the friendly staff will make you feel at home.
All 15 rooms, overlooking campo San Zaccaria or campo San Provolo, have a private bathroom (with shower or bath-tub), sat-tv and telephone.
Two rooms, on the garden side, have a private terrace with a view of San Zaccaria church. Most of the rooms are suitable for families with children and cots are available. On the ground floor there are the reception, the living room with small bar service and the breakfast buffet room. All the rooms are on the upper floors (1st to 4th). At the reception desk we are at your disposal to give you informations to get started: tours, typical itineraries, concerts tickets, dining suggestions, watertaxi and porter reservations.
